2024 Oldies Appreciation Game coming up on Saturday, 20th of April 2024 at UAMC Primary School, Igbogbo, Lagos State.

In an interview with Prince Ogunlewe Ademola, the LOC chairman, shared details about the upcoming Oldies Appreciation Game. This unique sporting event aims to celebrate and honor sports veterans while providing a platform for the working class to unwind and engage in physical activities.

According to Ogunlewe Ademola, the event has grown over the years, now featuring a family section with games for kids and activities for women.

He also mentioned that there will even be an exhibition game by the Amputee Football Federation of Nigeria and performances by the Nigeria Supporters’ Club. It’s all about promoting physical fitness and unity, as Ogunlewe Ademola emphasized.

The goal of the event is to make it a yearly tradition for everyone and to impact the lives of sports veterans who often face challenging living conditions and health issues. As part of the program, a medical outreach sponsored by Cute Medical Centre Igbogbo will be conducted to provide healthcare services.

Despite being a day-long event, the organizers are determined to honor the heroes and make a difference in their lives by offering palliative support or empowerment opportunities.
