Hon. Sulaimon Kazeem visited the kidnapped scene as a pregnant woman was kidnapped barely few days after a man was abducted around same area. On 27th of March he and his team visited Owutu police Station at Isawo road where they had a meeting on the strategic planning on the rescue mission, they were joined by the D.P.O Owutu police station Olukayode Awe and other top security personnel.

Hon. Sulaimon Kazeem, the executive chairman of Ikorodu West LCDA, has shed light on a distressing kidnapping incident. The incident took place around 7 o’clock yesterday, prompting an immediate response from concerned individuals in the community.

According to him, the victim’s family cautioned against entering the swamp area due to threats from the kidnappers. The perpetrators had already inflicted harm on one individual and issued warnings to the victim’s husband. Despite the presence of security personnel, including the commissioner of police, access to the swamp area was hindered.

He also assured the community that efforts are underway to bolster security measures. However, the cooperation of the victim’s family is vital in order to effectively address the situation.

The community were urged to remain vigilant and proactive in safeguarding their well-being. Authorities are working tirelessly to address the situation and provide a safe environment for all residents.

As investigations continue, it is hoped that swift action will be taken to bring the perpetrators to justice and ensure the safety of the community, SKO appealed to the families of the victims to be calm as security personnel are on top of the situation, while expressing his heartfelt sympathy to the families and community at large, he adviced  “if you see something, say something”.
