The HMB Political Movement and the Womenfold Global Aid Foundation hosted the second edition of the Annual Ramadan Lecture. The lecture centered around the important topic of “The Ummah and Nation Building.”

In a powerful and enlightening lecture, Sheikh Musa Murtadoh spoke on the topic “The Ummah and Nation Building”.

He emphasized the importance of supporting Muslims who achieve greatness, rather than tearing them down. He encouraged the community to come together in support of such individuals.

Sheikh Musa also emphasized the significance of seeking Allah’s mercy and asking for wealth that can be used to serve Allah and help those in need. He stressed the need for clerics to utilize social media as a platform to provide guidance on various aspects of Islam, ensuring that information is not misleading.

Addressing the topic of marriage, Sheikh Musa advised men to carefully study their potential wives, seeking qualities such as goodness, intelligence, and a deep understanding of Islam. He highlighted that these qualities will shape the future of their children.

Sheikh Musa commended Hajia Muftiat for her exemplary conduct as a woman and her role as a positive ambassador of Islam in society. He urged her to continue following the path of Allah through initiatives like the Ramadan lecture. The Womenfold Global Aid Foundation also received appreciation for their valuable contributions.

Furthermore, Sheikh Musa encouraged the audience to nurture their female children, empowering them to become leaders in politics, society, and organizations. He emphasized that knowledge and a strong foundation in Islam are essential for women to responsibly contribute to society.

During the event, Hajia Muftiat Bajulaye highlighted the commendable work of the Womenfold Global Aid Foundation. This foundation is dedicated to assisting the less privileged in society. As an example, she shared the story of a woman they encountered just a week ago. This woman revealed that her highest daily income was 5000 naira, and on slower days, she would only make 3000 naira. However, thanks to the support of the Womenfold Global Aid Foundation, she received a generous sum of 5000 naira to further support her business.
