The Unified Local Government Muslim Staff Association Lagos State, Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA Branch, organized their 5th Annual Ramadan Public Lecture on the 19th of March, with a thought-provoking lecture delivered by Sheikh Abdulhakeem Abdullateef, the guest lecturer The lecture focused on the topic of “Islam: The Solution to World Perplexing Social Problems.”

During his lecture, Sheikh Abdulhakeem Abdullateef emphasized the importance of following the teachings of Allah and being grateful. He highlighted the consequences that can arise when people deviate from the right path, using Nigeria as an example. He mentioned the prevalent issues of kidnapping, suicide bombings, and the presence of Boko Haram, attributing them to a lack of adherence to Allah’s rules. According to the Sheikh, if everyone were to follow the teachings of Islam, such problems could be mitigated.

In addition, Sheikh Abdulhakeem Abdullateef shed light on the challenges faced by President Tinubu in Nigeria. He expressed his belief that the President was unaware of the extent of the damage caused by certain individuals who clandestinely support insurgency activities. The Sheikh offered prayers for President Tinubu, asking for strength and wisdom to rectify the situation.

In conclusion, Sheikh Abdulhakeem Abdullateef urged the audience to embrace the rules of Allah as the only authentic path. He expressed his hope that Nigeria would be free from the various acts of violence and turmoil that currently plague the country.
