
Hon. Sulaimon Kazeem Olanrewaju, the Executive Chairman of Ikorodu West LCDA as part of his SKO Cash Empowerment Initiative, has provided Cash support to 250 residents in Ikorodu West LCDA. This initiative aims to uplift and empower the community by giving them the resources they need to get food stuffs at their various homes or any of their needs.
Hon. Sulaimon Kazeem, expressed his dedication to the community during the launch of the cash initiative program. The program began on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, with a successful presentation of cash gifts to selected residents of ward A, B, and E.
Hon. Sulaimon said on Tuesday he presented presenting a motorbike to Mr. Sunday, fondly known as Cemetery, and mortuary to empower a deserving individual to contribute to the community.
Hon. Sulaimon emphasized that the beneficiaries were carefully chosen from various segments of the community, including religious bodies, CDC/CDAs, youth, market associations, and the traditional ruler.
Furthermore, Hon. Sulaimon acknowledged that the government cannot accomplish everything alone and appealed for the cooperation, prayers, and patience of the community to further their efforts in serving the people. He called on everyone to come together during this holy month to pray for peace, harmony, unity, and empathy, embracing the spirit of both Lent and Ramadan.
In closing, Hon. Sulaimon expressed his gratitude to the community for their unwavering support and trust in his leadership. He assured them that he will continue to fulfill the mandate entrusted to him. The community of Ikorodu West is truly fortunate to have such a dedicated and compassionate leader.
Prince Jamiu Adio Saka, the Apex Leader of Ikorodu West LCDA, commend the SKO Cash Empowerment Initiative. The initiative allows beneficiaries to use the funds according to their specific needs, giving them more flexibility and empowerment.
He commended the Chairman of Ikorodu West LCDA for spearheading this initiative and emphasized the importance of supporting Government programs while meeting the needs of the community. He also urged patience from the community, expressing confidence that within a year, positive changes will occur, propelling the country forward.
