… SKO empowers Sunday Adekoya, a deserving youth with a motorbike worth a million Naira

Hon. Sulaimon Kazeem Olanrewaju, the Executive Chairman Ikorodu West LCDA through the SKO Cash Empowerment Initiative, has provided financial support to households in Ikorodu West LCDA. In the same vein he empowered Sunday Adekoya, a deserving youth with a motorbike worth a million Naira. This initiative aims to bring relief and assistance to the community during these challenging times.

Hon. Sulaimon Kazeem, expressed his gratitude to the leaders, traditional rulers, artisans, and the entire community for entrusting him with their mandate to serve.

He highlighted the significance of the Cash Empowerment Initiative, which will be conducted across all five wards of the Local Council Development Area to ensure inclusivity. The program is divided into two segments, taking place on Tuesday, March 19, and Thursday, March 21, 2024. The goal is to empower 250 households and promote consistent implementation of this cash empowerment initiative.

Hon. Sulaimon Kazeem Olanrewaju also announced the empowerment of a deserving youth with a motorbike worth a million Naira. This initiative aims to alleviate economic hardships and reduce stress within the community, reflecting the LCDA’s commitment to grassroots governance and inclusiveness.

Since assuming office, the LCDA has made significant strides in empowerment and poverty alleviation. They have previously provided substantial relief in the form of food items and household supplies, and this commitment will continue in the future.

SKO announced the launch of another phase of massive palliative efforts in the form of subsidized and discounted market food. This initiative will complement the commendable Ounje Eko program led by the hardworking Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu.

To ensure a smooth and organized distribution process, a committee has been established to develop the necessary plans and modalities for the subsidized food market. The first segment of this initiative will cover Wards C, D, and E, with the aim of positively impacting the lives of the beneficiaries.

SKO emphasized the importance of patience with the present administration at both the state and federal levels. They urged the community to use the Lent and Ramadan spiritual atmospheres to foster compassion and empathy towards leaders and the country as a whole. Additionally, they encouraged everyone to continue praying for peace, stability, and economic growth.

SKO expressed gratitude for the ongoing support and interest in their administration, emphasizing their commitment to allocating resources towards people-oriented policies.

Prince Jamiu Adio Saka, the Apex Leader of Ikorodu West LCDA, highlighted the initiative aimed at bringing relief to the community. According to him, the Chairman expressed that this initiative is specifically for the residents of Ikorodu West LCDA. The provision of cash support will enable them to purchase enough food supplies for their households. Prince Jamiu commended the Chairman for his thoughtful and impactful initiative.

Prince Jamiu also addressed the current issues facing the country, attributing them to individuals who have misappropriated funds meant for subsidies in the past. However, he expressed optimism that President Tinubu’s leadership will bring about positive change.

The beneficiaries of the SKO Cash Empowerment Initiative applauded Hon. Sulaimon Kazeem, they are truly grateful for his generosity. They applauded his efforts and send their prayers his way.
