Princess Samiat Bada, the Mayoress of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA hosted the Annual Ramadan Tafsir organized by the Ikosi-Isheri League of Imams and Alfas.

In a thought-provoking lecture by Chief Imam Ismail Ibrahim Kajola, the chief missioner, League of chief Imams & Alfas, he shared valuable insights on how politicians can earn the favor of Allah. The cleric emphasized the importance of consistently doing good deeds, such as providing food for the hungry and clothing for those in need and lots more. These acts of kindness not only bring about the favor of Allah but also foster goodwill and followership among people.

Addressing the Mayoress directly, the scholar commended her for her continuous efforts in doing good deeds. However, he encouraged her to continue striving for even greater deeds of kindness. By consistently engaging in acts of goodness, the Mayoress can not only earn the favor of Allah but also inspire others to follow her example.

Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, the Mayoress of Ikosi Isheri LCDA, “Tafsir sessions have become a daily routine, where Muslim faithfuls eagerly gather to revive their souls and gain wisdom from the teachings of Almighty Allah in the holy Quran.

During these sessions, Princess Samiat emphasizes the importance of not reverting to old ways after Ramadan. She encourages everyone to hold onto the renewed hope in Allah and to continue on the righteous path.

The Mayoress also acknowledges the positive changes that have taken place since the emergence of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The nation has experienced a revival, and she urges the people to remain patient, trusting in their faith and the government’s commitment to progress. She emphasizes that prayers are essential, and the nation will soon witness the fruits of its collective efforts.

She extends her heartfelt appreciation to the people of Ikosi Isheri LCDA for their unwavering support. She acknowledges their prayers and asks for continued patience as the government strives to meet their expectations. She assures the community that their voices are heard, and their needs will be addressed.

She revealed that plans are already underway for her second term. The Mayoress promised she’s ready to serve the people with even greater dedication and determination. She appeals to the residents of Ikosi Isheri LCDA to continue their unwavering support, just as they did during her first tenure.

Hon. Mayegun Moshood, the State Deputy Chairman of the APC in Lagos State, commend the significance of Ramadan program, emphasizing the commitment and strong belief of Mayoress. This program, being organized annually, showcases the dedication and consistency of her. He expressed his hope that Allah will reward her for her efforts.

Hon. Femi Saheed commend Mayoress for organising the Tasfir for soul purification, He acknowledged that the challenges faced by Nigeria are not unique, as they are part of a global phenomenon. However, he emphasized the commitment of the government in Nigeria, particularly in Ikosi-Isheri and Lagos as a whole, to alleviate hardships and bring the government closer to the people. Their core mandate of ensuring security, providing food for all, and fostering better citizenship remains their top priority.

Hon. Afolabi Kazeem, the former Executive Secretary of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA, expressed his appreciation for the enlightening Tafsir sessions by the Clerics. He acknowledged the presence of various dignitaries, which demonstrates the inclusive leadership of Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, the Mayoress of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA.

Hon. Afolabi Kazeem urged the people to remain patient and have faith in the leadership of President Tinubu. He believes that under his guidance, things will be set right and the community will experience positive change in Nigeria.
