In an impressive display of athletic prowess, Hon. Adelani Okunade’s house secured a commendable third place at the recently concluded Anglican Primary School, Isawo 2024 Inter-house Sports. The event, which showcased the sporting talents of young pupils, highlighted the importance of sports activities in primary schools.

Hon. Adelani Okunade, the Supervisor for Youth and Sport in Ikorodu West LCDA, emphasized the significance of sports in the administration led by Hon. Sulaimon Kazeem Olanrewaju, the Executive Chairman of Ikorodu West LCDA. He stressed that sports play a vital role in the development of young individuals and should be taken seriously. As the Supervisor for Youth and Sports, Hon. Adelani Okunade has established a house to support and nurture these children from a young age, with the goal of helping them become exceptional athletes in the future.

Hon. Adelani Okunade also expressed his appreciation to Senator Tokunbo Abiru, who represents Lagos East Senatorial District. He acknowledged Senator Abiru’s commitment to sports and the various sporting centers he has facilitated across the district. These centers provide an enabling environment for children to develop their sporting abilities and become accomplished athletes.
