In an effort to boost Internally Generated Revenue of the Council, Ibeju-Lekki Local Government under the leadership of its Executive Chairman, Hon.(Engr.) Abdullahi Sesan Olowa today organised a 1-Day Training on Digital Application to revenue generation for Area Officers, Revenue Staff and newly engaged Revenue Agents.

The training which was supervised by Members of the Ibeju-Lekki Revenue Board(ILRB) in conjunction with Centrify Platform Limited was aimed at training Revenue Officers of the Council and  Revenue Agents on Digital mode of revenue collection through E-ticketing Applications to  simplify the collection of revenue and enhance the Enumeration process while clearly stating the Supervisory role of Area Officers in charge of the four Area Offices of the Council.

The process is one of the  Hon.Abdullahi Sesan Olowa Administration’s way of reforming the system to increase internally generated revenue in order for the Local Government to  adequately provide basic amenities for the people from levies and rate generated.

At the programme were the Revenue Vice – Chairman, Hon. Shafari Saheed, the Head of Finance and Accounts Department, Mr. Sunday Onabanjo, the Internal Auditor, Mr. Oyegunle Oluwakayode John, the Head of ICT, Mr.Ogunkoya Ololade and Area Officers amongst others.
