The tower of Resources, Ikorodu North LCDA in line with best practices yesterday had an open bid exercise for the construction of roads within the LCDA.

The open bid exercise held at the newly built Secretariat hall with three contractors in attendance namely Projmaster International Consultants Nig. Limited,
360 Unique Designs and Construction Ltd and Becks&Vicks Nig Ltd.

The bid Committee Chairman, Mrs. Adeyemi Enitan welcome the contractors after which Mrs. Monsurah Sodiq the procurement officer opened the bid box, and also read out each contractor’s documents one after the other alongside the state Public Procurement Officer, Mr. Olalekan Tijani.

Each envelope submitted by the three contractors was opened in the presence of everyone and the process was generally open and free for all to see and criticise if necessary.

Mr. Tijani in his address encouraged the contractors  to voice out their opinion against the process if not satisfied to which the contractors unanimously agreed to the fairness of the process.

Basirat Babatunde- Special Adviser, W.A.P.A, Builder Kehinde Adeoye (Council Engineer), Barr. Gbenga Kukoyi(Legal Officer), Mrs. Bukola Ogunshola(Environment.), Mrs Bukola Datty, (W.A.P.A), Mr. Olatunde Nicholas (Second signatory.), Mr. Ayodele Kayode, Public Affairs Officer and a host of others.
