
In a heartfelt gathering, family, friends, colleagues, and well-wishers came together to offer prayers at the 8-day Fidau prayer of Late Alhaji Abdulrasheed Olasunkanmi Salau, the father of Hon. Salau Rukayat Ajibike, Supervisor for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation in Ikorodu West LCDA.
The day began with Fidau prayer led by Sheikh Sefiudeen Oloworibi the Chief Imam of Ikorodu and it was attended by the family and well-wishers. They came together to seek blessings and offer prayers for the departed soul. It was a solemn and meaningful moment for everyone present.

Following the prayer session, a reception was held to honor the late Alhaji Abdulrasheed Olasunkanmi Salau. The event saw the presence of esteemed guests, including Council Chairmen from Ikorodu Division, Hon. Toyin Gafaar Bolowotan, Mayor Deen Sanwoola and his wife, Prince Jamiu Adio Saka, Vice Chairmen, Supervisors, Councillors, Olori Adeboruwa, Olori Oloworo, Otunba Bayo Lawson, 57 wapa’s, Lagos State Supervisors forum, iCare Foundation members and other important dignitaries from Ikorodu Division and Lagos at large.
During the reception, Hon. Salau Rukayat Ajibike expressed her heartfelt gratitude to everyone who had supported her and her family since the passing of her father. She acknowledged their presence and unwavering support during this difficult time. She concluded by praying that Almighty Allah bless them abundantly.
