Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada flagged off the ICT center and three-month free ICT training program for residents of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA. During the training, participants will learn various skills such as Computer Basic Program, Microsoft Excel, Web Design & Development (Front-end/Back-end), Motion Graphics/Visual Effects, Graphics Design, Networking, Cyber-Security, Data Analysis, and Financial Accounting Software like QuickBooks and Tally ERP.

The training program will span for a period of 3 months, giving participants ample time to learn and master the valuable skills being taught. To accommodate everyone’s schedule, there will be both morning and afternoon sessions available. This flexibility ensures that individuals can choose the session that works best for them.

The Mayoress personally presented the comprehensive manual guides to the trainees. These guides contain all the necessary information for their course of study, serving as a valuable resource throughout their training period.

In her speech, Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada stated, “Today, we gathered in this vibrant space of innovation and learning, we embark on a journey to equip our community with essential technology skills that will pave the way for a brighter and more prosperous future. The Mayoress emphasized the significance of bridging the digital divide and creating opportunities for personal and professional growth through accessible and practical technology training. The LCDA is committed to providing educational information and communication technology skill development, leading to increased employability, entrepreneurship, and overall societal advancement within Ikosi Isheri Local Council Development Area.

She expressed her pride in the progress made in enhancing learning opportunities for the youth. The LCDA has focused on initiatives such as reconstructing school infrastructure, distributing educational materials, and providing Jamb and GCE forms to prioritize academic excellence and lifelong learning.

The Mayoress encouraged everyone to seize the opportunities presented by the ICT Skill Empowerment Program. She emphasized the importance of embracing learning with enthusiasm and dedication, as knowledge acquisition opens doors to endless possibilities.
