And they’re planning to construct a road from Ogudu to Agboyi town, which will open up the area and bring more opportunities for everyone.
Mayor Oshinowo and the team have also been taking care of the environment. Every year, they work on the canals, even though it’s not their duty as the local government. They dredge and maintain the canal to prevent major floods in our community.
The LCDA has installed over 30 boreholes, providing up to 100 liters of water per day, which is shared across the three towns. Each town has five fetching points, ensuring access for everyone.
He said They’re planning to do even more, like addressing the water issue in a town that currently doesn’t have access. It’s all part of their budget for this year. In Owode Orile, they’re aiming to install a borehole with a fetching capacity of at least 80,000 liters per day.
