
The Mandate Movement (Ikorodu Division) announced its rebranding and restructuring. Following the lead of the State Leadership resolution, the division is headed by Alhaji Musiliu Animashaun and Hon. Adebimpe Akinshola as the Secretary, echoed the call for change the meeting took place on Wednesday, 7th of February. The movement is taking proactive steps to align with the state Leadership’s vision and goals.
Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe, the East Senatorial District Coordinator for The Mandate Movement. He recently expressed his thoughts on bringing everyone together and avoiding any discomfort within the group.
Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe, the Lagos East Coordinator for The Mandate Movement (TMM), shared the resolution of the recent meeting with Ajasa-Info. According to him, the meeting aimed to bring together all LCDA executives in Ikorodu Division and it will be done simultaneously in East Senatorial.
Senator Ogunlewe stressed the importance of unity and collaboration among the members, emphasizing that these positions are meant to foster cooperation rather than create divisions. So, there’s no need for quarrels or conflicts. Instead, he encourages patience and accommodation for everyone involved.
In a recent development, the leadership has decided to change the name from TMG to TMM. However, Senator Ogunlewe advised all members to be patient. He emphasized the importance of working together and finding a balance in the sharing of positions. He said that there should be no problem in sharing positions since everyone is from the same community and should support each other.
Furthermore, Senator Ogunlewe acknowledged the contributions of those who have been chairmen for a long time. Even if they may not be wanted in certain positions anymore, he assured that they will still be included in the party structure.
