Hon. Ogunleye Gbolahan Adetokunbo (OGA), the Member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Ikorodu Constituency 1, and Chairman of the House Committee on Overseas Investments and Sustainable Development Goals SDG’s, highlighted his achievements since his assumption into the Lagos State House of Assembly.

Hon. Ogunleye expressed his commitment to fulfilling the promises made during his campaign to propel Ikorodu forward and attract government attention to the needs of the community. He proudly declared that, as the representative of Ikorodu Constituency 1 in the Lagos State House of Assembly, he has successfully facilitated the rehabilitation of several major link roads in the constituency.

Thanks to the dedicated efforts of His Excellency, the Governor of Lagos State, and the diligent staff of the Lagos State Public Works Department, these major link roads have been revitalized, greatly improving the ease of movement within the community. He expressed his heartfelt commendation to all the community members and leaders who played a role in making this endeavor a resounding success.

Furthermore, he extended his deepest appreciation to Governor Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu for his unwavering commitment and tireless efforts in enhancing the road networks across Lagos. The state government’s focus on reducing travel time and ensuring ease of movement for both vehicles and residents has been a driving force behind this remarkable achievement.

The dedication, vision, and exceptional leadership of Governor Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu have been instrumental in the progress and development of the community. Hon. Ogunleye expressed his pride and admiration for the state government’s commitment to improving the lives of the people in Ikorodu and beyond.

The rehabilitation of these major link roads is undoubtedly a significant step towards a brighter future for Ikorodu. The improved infrastructure will not only enhance the daily lives of the residents but also contribute to the overall growth and development of the community.

Hon. Ogunleye Gbolahan acknowledged the remarkable efforts of Engr. Lateef Ayodele Somide, the General Manager of Lagos State Public Works, and the other members of the Ministry. Their selflessness and enthusiasm have truly inspired all of us. We are grateful for their countless hours of hard work and dedication. As of today, we can proudly reflect on the incredible achievements we have accomplished so far.

The completion of Oba Sekumade road, Oba Oyefusi street, TOS Benson road, Ayangburen road, Etunrenren street, Banjoko Olowu street, Alison street, Ajenifuja street, Olowosago street, Kasali Onilere street, Alh. Ogbara street, Adeyeri Owuyo street, and other ongoing road rehabilitations is a strong indication that the government is ready and taking the necessary actions. This is a powerful statement of intent.

In light of these achievements, Hon. Ogunleye Gbolahan humbly appeals to the constituents to expect more from the State Government. Additionally, it is crucial for us to protect the rehabilitated roads and other infrastructural projects in our communities.

Lastly he said “Let us continue to harness the power of collaboration, unity, and determination to tackle future challenges and build an even stronger, more vibrant community. Ikorodu is our home, and it is our collective responsibility to contribute to its growth, development and ensure the Greater Ikorodu of our dreams.
