….actualize agelong pursuit of Chiefs

An air of joy, gratitude, and accomplishment filled the atmosphere as the Executive-in-Council of Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area (LCDA) officially conferred certificates of office upon six newly gazetted Chiefs approved by the Lagos State Government.
The honored individuals include:
– High-chief Adeeso Adedoyin Idowu – The Olisa of Owu-Ikosi
– High-Chief Odufowora Shakiru Kunle – The Aro of Agbowa-Ikosi
– High-Chief Adebonojo Sulaiman Jamiu – The Agbon of Owu-Ikosi
– High-Chief Francis Babatunde Adegboyega – Baale, Alade-Ebute of Itoikin
– High-Chief Rasak Ogunsanwo – Baale, Lago Community
– High-Chief Solomon Adesanya Omotayo – Baale, Sekungba Community
In his opening remarks, Executive Chairman Akogun Wale Raji Anomo underscored the vital role of a strong and established traditional institution in governance and administration. He expressed his unwavering commitment to fortifying this institution and called on the newly appointed High-Chiefs to leverage their offices to uphold the values of both the traditional institution and Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA. He urged them to collaborate effectively with the Kings, their consenting authorities, and the LCDA to better serve the community.
Vice-Chairman, Alh. Wasiu Dehinsilu congratulated the new Chiefs, acknowledging the administration’s role in making their longstanding dreams with some of them pursuing it as long as 30 years, a reality. He emphasized the rare opportunity bestowed upon them and encouraged gratitude towards the leadership of Akogun Wale Raji Anomo.
High-Chief Odufowora Shakiru, speaking on behalf of the Chiefs, expressed deep gratitude to Akogun Wale Anomo and his cabinet for realizing their long-time aspirations. He offered heartfelt prayers and pledged continued collaboration with the Kings and the LCDA for the community’s betterment.
High-chief Adeeso Adedoyin, the Olisa of Owu-Ikosi, lauded Akogun Wale Anomo for the commendable work in the LCDA and encouraged him not to relent in preparing Ikosi-Ejinrin for more opportunities in the future.
