In line with the vision of the President of the federal republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu that all budget cycle be regulated to Jan-Dec of every year, the Executive Chairman, Ikorodu North LCDA, Builder Deola Banjo has presented the year 2024 appropriation bill to the legislative arm of government for consideration and approval.

The proposed budget, tagged – Budget of Infrastructural development aligns with the Chairman’s objective to aggressively pursue more infrastructural development for the five wards of the LCDA.

The Chairman while presenting his speech highlighted that he would be constructing roads in the Agbede and Agbala wards, renovating and presenting chairs and lockers to schools, providing boreholes to areas where they are most needed amongst many other projects he intends to implement next year.

He also seized the opportunity of the gathering to intimate the audience of his giant strides in the outgoing year such as the Moruf Onileyan building, the newly built Councillors chamber, customary court and legislators offices, the completion of Odogunyan-Agbede link bridge and many others.

The Leader of the house, Honourable Ayo Adekoya while delivering her own remark thanked the Builder for his support over the years and also assured the gathering of a speedy consideration of the proposed budget which will facilitate the anticipated development that the approved budget would guarantee.

The total budget size for year 2024 is put at Two billion, Six hundred and twenty-six million, eight hundred and four thousand, nine hundred and fifty-four naira only.

The Chairman assured stakeholders present of his commitment to ensure he doubles the gain for the good people of Ikorodu North LCDA next year.
