Hon. Ahmed Olanrewaju Apatira Executive Chairman Itire-Ikate LCDA present ₦4,193,704,834.63 Year 2024 Budget to the Legislative Arm, early hours of yesterday.

Hon. Ahmed Apatira, in his speech during the presentation of the year 2024 budget. The budget, titled “Budget of Renewed Hope,” aims to address the needs of the community and bring about positive change.

In his speech, Hon. Ahmed Apatira expressed his pleasure in welcoming everyone to the occasion. He emphasized that the budget was carefully crafted after an in-depth study of the community’s needs and the valuable input received from stakeholders.

The proposed budget for 2024 is an impressive ₦4,193,704,834.63, a significant increase from the approved budget of ₦3,706,822,576.94 for 2023.

Hon. Ahmed Apatira assured the Legislative Arm that the appropriation bill is dedicated to the growth and development of the community. The budget will prioritize the provision of basic amenities and infrastructure to alleviate the suffering of the people.

Hon. ldris Hammed Oladipupo, the Council Leader of Itire-Ikate LCDA, delivered an inspiring speech during the presentation of the Year 2024 Budget. The budget, which was themed “Budget of Renewed Hope,” signifies another milestone in the development of Itire-Ikate LCDA.

Expressing his gratitude, Hon. ldris Hammed Oladipupo thanked the Almighty God for guiding them thus far in the year 2023. He recalled that around the same time last year, the Executive Chairman of Itire-Ikate LCDA, Hon. (Dr.) Ahmed Olanrewaju Apatira, presented the year 2023 Budget and shared his projections for the year, which were successfully fulfilled.

As the leader of the fifth Legislative Assembly of Itire-Ikate LCDA, Hon. ldris Hammed Oladipupo promised to lead an Assembly that would make and sustain positive impacts on the lives of the people in the LCDA. The team committed to living up to the expectations of the community by enacting legislations and resolutions that support the government’s policies, programs, and activities.

Taking the opportunity, Hon. ldris Hammed Oladipupo humbly appealed to the residents of Itire-Ikate LCDA to improve their tax payments to the government. He emphasized that increased revenues would bring about more development strides in the community.

In conclusion, Hon. ldris Hammed Oladipupo reiterated his dedication to serving the people of Itire-Ikate LCDA and promised to continue working towards their welfare and progress.
