In a heartwarming celebration, Golden Integrated Foundation, in collaboration with Rotaract Club of Ikorodu Golden, brought the spirit of Christmas to the children of Oke-ota community in Ibeshe, Ikorodu, Lagos State. The event took place on Saturday, the 16th of December 2023, and was filled with laughter and joy.

The festivities began with a warm welcome speech by Comrade Patricia Okosodo, the Convener of Golden Integrated Empowerment Foundation. She spoke about the true essence of the Yuletide season, emphasizing the values of love, giving, and receiving. Her words resonated with the young ones, reminding them of the importance of spreading kindness during this festive period.

The event witnessed an overwhelming turnout of children from the Oke-ota community. They eagerly participated in a lively dance competition, showcasing their talent and enthusiasm. The atmosphere was filled with energy and excitement as the children displayed their impressive moves.

Following the dance competition, the children engaged in various games that brought smiles to their faces. Laughter filled the air as they enjoyed friendly competitions and shared moments of pure joy with their friends and peers.

The highlight of the day was the arrival of Santa Claus, who made a grand entrance to the delight of the children. Santa, accompanied by his trusty helpers, distributed gifts to each child, spreading happiness and creating unforgettable memories. The children’s faces lit up with excitement as they received their presents, cherishing the magical moments of this special occasion.
