
The International Federation of Women Lawyers (Fida) Ikorodu has officially announced its upcoming Annual Law Week, set to take place December 12th and 13th. The planning committee, led by Chairman Barrister Toun Adekoya Esq FICMC and Fida Ikorodu Chairperson Barr. Bimbo Obaseki.
The highly anticipated Annual Law Week will feature an array of informative and engaging sessions on the 12th of December, led by esteemed guest lecturers. HON. Chief Mrs Adebimpe Akinsola, Chief Magistrate – Adejumoke Olagbegi Adelabu, Barr. S.O.K Shillings, Josephine Uzoya, and Barr. Bolatumi Animashaun are among the distinguished speakers who will be sharing their expertise and insights on the topic 21st Century Parenting: Issues and Challenges, during this event which is taking place at the S.O. Gbadamosi Hall, situated within the Ikorodu Town Hall
The Law Week will continue on December 13th with a sensitization walk, starting at 9 am. This walk aims to raise awareness and promote legal education within the community. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about their legal rights and gain a deeper understanding of the law.
Lastly the Law Week Dinner, scheduled also for December 13th from 5 pm to 8 pm. This special event will take place at Exclusive Hall, located in Ita Elewa, Ikorodu. The Law Week Dinner promises to be an evening filled with networking, celebration, and camaraderie amongst legal professionals and community members.
