HRM Oba Olukayode David Raji, the Eweye of Isiwu, leading the council of Chiefs, Isiu Eweye Development Association under the Chairmanship Of Otunba Folagbade Musa Banwo on an official tour/inspection of ongoing developmental projects around Isiu Community and Environs on Monday, 4th of November. This tour is part of the activities slated for the commemoration of the 2023 Annual Eweye day celebrations which is envisaged to serve as a thank you visit to the various sites and the undertakers of the monumental projects

The Project includes: Isiwu Central Mosque: It’s currently under construction, which is undertaken by Isiu Muslim Community.

The Modern market built directly facing Itoikin road shall be a eye opener and also serve as the economic hub center for Isiu and her adjourning communities when commissioned, Alayeluwa prayed fervently for Rep Babajimi Benson who facilitated the project.

The well furnished 40 Beds Hospital Isiu: Another completed project, it was facilitated by Senator Tokunbo Abiru, through Office of the SSA to the President on SDGs under the leadership of Princess Orelope Adefulire.

Rosula Foundation is an offspring of Nehemiah Grace Developers LTD. A company based in Aleke through a CSR projects has contributed the following projects:
1. The ultra modern police station  conforming with new  police  building  standards

2. Electrification of Aleke phase 2 is also ongoing and to be commissioned before the end of December 2023

3. The construction of edificial Town Hall also directly facing the Itokin road, Kabiesi prayed for the sponsor from the depth of his heart and had offered her the prestigious yeye Oba tittle since she is also a princess from Benin Kingdom.

4. Rosula Foundation also facilitated scholarship scheme for 10 students into some private universities in Nigeria on yearly basis. The second intakes have just been shortlisted.

They proceeded on the tour by going to the Agunfoye Road Construction: This road construction project is still ongoing it is a project of the Lagos State Government, 40 Beds Hospital Akaun: The project was facilitated by the Joint Action Commitee of Akaun in conjunction with the Council Leader and the Executive Chairman of IKORODU NORTH LCDA.

Kabiyesi also led the team to pay a historical visit to the newly posted Commander of the Police intervention unit ARARO, built and commissioned by Ikorodu North LCDA under the Administration of Bldr. Adeola Banjo the Executive Chairman.

Kabiyesi appreciated the crime control Mechanism of the unit in the recent past and also admonished the new Commander CSP GODSFREY not to relent in doing his best possible to keep the tempo constant and even higher as crime, (particularly cultism) is put to extinction in this neighborhood unlike the menacing rate before the emergence of the intervention squad.

Kabiyesi also acknowledged the generosity of the Olufida family for gifting the land for safety purposes in the community.

And lastly the Sparklight Industry: This factory is currently under construction. Once operational, it will contribute to the local economy and provide job opportunities for the community, it is owned by Chief Samuel Otiko, Kabiyesi appluaded him for wonderful work he’s doing in the community and for also creating jobs for the Youths.

Asiwaju Wale Ogunbela Chief of Staff to Kabiyesi, also the Supervisor for Agriculture, Rural Development and Chieftaincy Affairs Ikorodu North LCDA, expressed his gratitude to the Member of the House of Representatives (MHR) for their unwavering commitment to bringing development to nooks and crannies of Ikorodu Division. Ogunbela praised the MHR, stating that he has etched his name in gold in the history of Ikorodu Division.

Furthermore, Ogunbela extended his special thanks to the Rosula Foundation for their benevolence towards the community. He specifically acknowledged their selection of himself, Mr Ben peters and Alh Wasiu showemimo as the Liaison Officers between the community and the organization. Ogunbela also expressed his gratitude to Mr. Mike Omoruyi, the project coordinator, for his unwavering cooperation throughout the ups and downs. He prayed for even more successful collaborations in the future.
