
Laulat Memorial Foundation, led by Hon. (Prince) Olayiwola Oyedele Shotomiwa, the Founder and BOT Chairman of the foundation, has made a significant donation to the upcoming Igbogbo-Baiyeku Zonal sport festival. Earlier today, the foundation generously donated four trophies.
Mr. Osikoya Oludare, President of Laulat Memorial Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving lives and serving humanity. Since its establishment in 2020 by the esteemed philanthropist Hon. (Prince) Olayiwola Oyedele SHOTOMIWA, the foundation has been actively striving to give back to society in impactful ways.
During the challenging period of the Covid-19 pandemic, the foundation stepped up its efforts to support the vulnerable and marginalized individuals who were struggling to survive the lockdown. Through the generosity of their founder, the organization provided much-needed support and palliatives to those in need, ensuring that they had the necessary resources during those tough times.
Education has also remained a key focus for Laulat Memorial Foundation. They have been granting scholarships to students and community members who require financial aid to pursue their education. This year, their efforts led them to UMC Eleja school, where they awarded scholarships to deserving students. Additionally, the foundation provided school kits to students whose parents were unable to provide them, ensuring that no child was left behind in their educational journey.
It has come to light that there will be a zonal sports festival in Ikorodu, specifically in Igbogbo, very soon. Notably, Hon. Prince Shotomiwa, being a fervent supporter and lover of sports, has been actively involved in promoting physical activities and supporting inter-house sports events.
As a Patron of the green house, he has played a significant role in uplifting the spirit of competition. Furthermore, the Laulat Memorial Foundation presented four trophies as part of their support towards the competition, specifically for the Best, Second Runner-Up, Third Runner-Up, and Fourth Runner-Up.
Mr. Oludare, revealed their active involvement in the 2023 Igbogbo Day culture day celebration. Mr. Oludare shared that the foundation proudly serves as one of the sponsor for this event, making valuable contributions to support and promote the rich cultural heritage of the community.
Speaking about their contributions, Mr. Oludare highlighted the foundation’s tradition of donating gifts for the cultural day festivities. This year, they went above and beyond by generously providing 4 sets of trophies, adding to the excitement and competitive spirit of the celebrations.
Mr. Amusa the Education Secretary, Ikorodu expressed gratitude for the support received thus far and conveyed their anticipation for even more assistance. The generous contributions and gifts received were greatly appreciated, and they expressed hope for continued support in the future.
Mr. Amusa Afolabi also acknowledged the remarkable work done by Hon. Prince Shotomiwa and his foundation at Eleja Primary School. The dedication and impact made in the lives of students were remembered and it will lingered in their hearts.
