The Legislative arm of Ikorodu North LCDA under the leadership of Honourable Ayo Adekoya has held the second of it’s kind valedictory session in honour of the first leader of the house, Honourable Surajudeen Olawale Akinlabi aka (Onile Baba Bola) who passed on few days ago.

The valedictory session had in attendance the Executive Chairman, Ikorodu North LCDA, Builder Deola Banjo, the APC Chairman, Ikorodu division, Otunba Olasunkanmi Tijani (Omo dada), former Chairman and the State Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Honourable Muyideen Adeola Jokomba, the first Executive Chairman, Ikorodu North LCDA, Honourable Kunle Ogunbela, Mrs Toyin Salau, Alhaji Sulaiman Fatai, Alhaji Odidi, Supervisors of Ikorodu North and several other iconic individuals stormed the legislative chamber of the Tower of resources to witness the historic event.

The leader of the house, Honourable Ayo Adekoya in her opening remark briefed the audience on the significance of the gathering highlighting the impacts and achievements of the late Akinlabi.

The Chairman, Builder Deola Banjo in his address shared memories of the life and times of the deceased after which he encouraged the children to remain strong to carry on the legacies of their father.

Otunba Olasunkanmi Tijani, Honourable Muyideen Jokomba, Mrs Toyin Salau and the Councillors such as Honourable Niran Wake Up, Honourable Sheriff Tijani, Honourable Balqis Aderoju and Honourable Adaramola also took turn to relive their memories of the deceased and prayed that God forgive and accept his return. A one minute silence was also observed in his honour.
