
Today is a very busy day for the Executive Chairman of Ikorodu North LCDA, Builder Deola Banjo, political leaders, Legislators and stakeholders of Ikorodu North LCDA.
The day commenced with the year 2024 stakeholders consultative forum which gathered political and religious leaders, Baales, market men and women, Transport unions and other relevant stakeholders who must be present when issues of Ikorodu North is the subject matter.
The Chairman in his welcome address lists his numerous achievements in the past eleven months to the excitement of the audience while he also promised the audience that more projects are in the offing which would go round the five wards of Ikorodu North LCDA.
He went further to assure the audience that his administration would be constructing roads and execute one major project each in the five wards of Ikorodu North LCDA.
Immediately after the stakeholders consultative forum, the Chairman led the stakeholders to inspects the near-finishing multipurpose building which houses Legislative chamber, customary court, Councillors offices and a multipurpose hall for future activities of the LCDA.
Stakeholders who spoke to the media commended the efforts of the Chairman saying that with what they have seen on ground, they are confident that year 2024 would be a great year for the good people of the Tower of resources.
Honourable Muyideen Adeola Jokomba, the former Chairman of the LCDA and the State Secretary of the All Progressives Congress said the Chairman, Builder Deola Banjo has indeed lived up to his campaign promise of double the term, double the gains.
Some of those who graced the august occasion are Otunba Olasunkanmi Tijani, Honourable Muyideen Adeola Jokomba, Prince Kunle Ogunbela, Honourable Iyiola, Mrs Toyin Salau, Alhaji Fayas, Honourable Odidi, CDC Chairman, Prince Niran Ogunbanwo, Baales, CAN leadership, Chief Imam of Ikorodu North, Councillors, Supervisors, management members and many others.
The event came to end with a photo session and exchange of camaraderie as all the past Chairmen and major actors in Ikorodu North had the opportunity to once again spend quality time together and share ideas on how to move the LCDA forward.
The cerebral Secretary to the Local Government, Honourable Niyi Odugbesi gave the Vote of thanks.
