Hon. Enitan Jessica Oba, the Council Leader of Ikorodu West LCDA Legislative Assembly and Golden Integrated Empowerment Foundation embarked on an impactful mission on Wednesday, 24th November, 2023. The initiative involved raising awareness about the dangers of sugar daddies and distributing essential sanitary pads to young females in Secondary Schools across the Ipakodo community.

During her speech, Hon. Enitan Jessica Oba passionately emphasized the importance of protecting and empowering our young girls. She spoke about the potential dangers of engaging in relationships with older men for financial gain, urging the girls to prioritize their dreams and aspirations.

Hon. Enitan Jessica Oba highlighted the need for the community to come together and educate our girls about healthy relationships. She stressed that their education should not be compromised for short-term gains, and that they should be empowered to chase their dreams without any distractions or obstacles.

The project, organized in collaboration with the Golden Integrated Empowerment Foundation, is a continuous effort to create a society where every individual can thrive. By commemorating the International Week of Gender-Based Violence, Honourable Jessica seeks to shed light on the importance of addressing this issue and fostering a safe environment for women and girls.

The team visited Ipakodo Secondary School, Living-stone Secondary School and Fruitful ville secondary schools to mention few.
