The Executive Chairman of Itire-Ikate local council development area, Hon. (Dr.) Ahmed Olanrewaju Apatira today continued the economic enhancement support palliatives (distribution of food items) 𝑻𝒐 Residents, 𝑷𝒉𝒚𝒔𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒅 𝑷𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒏𝒔, Public Primary School Pupils and Clinic/Patient Mothers at the council secretariat, Airways Rd. Ijesha

Expressing gratitude to the recipients, the council boss acknowledged their peaceful disposition across communities and reassured them of continuous support to ease the challenges of daily life. He emphasized the initiative’s ongoing nature, with plans to implement various palliative measures, including the distribution of food items and economic support, targeting residents in both the formal and informal sectors.

Highlighting the significance of the initiative, Dr. Apatira stated, “The most important aspect of today’s event is the spirit of empathy driving our actions. we, as a government, empathize with the people from all walks of life and remain committed to helping them navigate the challenges of the current times.”

The council boss further thanked them for their peaceful disposition across the communities and reiterated his unwavering readiness to always support them in every way possible to make life easier for them.

In his words; ““This is only a fraction of what we have done to identify with the people at this very critical moment of our national life. palliatives are a stop-gap measure to cushion the effect of the removal of fuel subsidy on the most vulnerable among us.

“Over the next few days, our administration will roll out different palliative measures to support residents, people in the formal and informal sectors ranging from distribution of food items and other economic support palliatives to our people .
