The ‘OMI EKO’ project, hosted by the French Development Agency (AFD), kicked off with great enthusiasm as Management and staffs of LASWA led by the General Manager, Mr. Damilola Emmanuel, to learn about the latest developments in sustainable urban mobility in Lagos. The project, formerly known as WIDE-LAG, aims to enhance public transportation along inland waterways and elevate the quality of life in the city.

The day began with a captivating presentation on the Environmental and Social Management Plan by the knowledgeable consultants. Their expertise and insights shed light on the various aspects of the initiative, demonstrating the meticulous studies conducted to ensure its success.
