Leo Adewusi Damilola installed as the 4th President of Ikorodu Metropolitan Leo club and other Club officers by Leo Omolara Faniyi, the Pioneer District President Leo District 404-A3 Nigeria, on Saturday, November 11th.

Leo Omolara Faniyi, the Pioneer District President of Leo District 404A3 Nigeria, extended her heartfelt congratulations to the newly installed club president. In her speech, she commended the president for taking on the important role and expressed confidence in his ability to lead the club to success.

Leo Omolara Faniyi acknowledged the significant responsibility of the club president in shaping the direction of the club and inspiring its members to make a positive impact in the community. She emphasized the importance of keeping the Leo motto, “Leadership, Experience, Opportunity,” at the forefront of their mind as they navigate the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.

The Pioneer District President assured the president that they have the support of fellow Leos and the entire Leo District 404A3 community. with this support, she expressed her confidence that the club will flourish and achieve great things during the Lions service year.

Leo Omolara Faniyi concluded her speech by expressing her excitement to witness the incredible accomplishments that the club president and their club will achieve.

The Immediate Past President Leo Adenike Ibrahim, officially handed over the helm of affairs of Ikorodu Metropolitan Leo club to Leo Adewusi Damilola.

In his acceptance speech, Leo Adewusi Damilola expressed his gratitude to God for the opportunity to lead as the 4th President of the Ikorodu Metropolitan Leo Club. With humility and grace, he acknowledged the immense responsibility that comes with wearing the crown of leadership.

Surrounded by his family, friends, and well-wishers, Leo Adewusi Damilola stood before the crowd, ready to embark on a new chapter of service to humanity. He emphasized the importance of collective effort and described the club as a giving community of like-minded individuals dedicated to improving society.

Having been an active member of the club since 2016 and serving in various capacities, Leo Adewusi Damilola fully understands the power of collaboration. He believes that service to humanity is not the work of one person, but rather a joint endeavor that requires a united front.

During his tenure as President for the 2023-2024 service year, Leo Adewusi Damilola announced that the club will focus on three major areas: education, empowerment, and health. These pillars align with the international organization’s core focuses, which include diabetes, vision, childhood cancer, hunger relief, environment, youth, disaster relief, and humanitarian efforts.
