Lions Princess Adenaike Adenike was installed as the President of Ikorodu Diamond Lions Club and other Club officers by the District Governor 404-A3 Nigeria Lion Shakiru Adeniyi Balogun, which took place on the 29th of October.

The Bombata group filled the air with the infectious melodies of Ikorodu’s traditional beats. The guests couldn’t help but dance and immerse themselves in the vibrant cultural experience.

Lion Shakiru Adeniyi Balogun PMJF, NLCF, the Pioneer District Governor of District 404 A3, congratulated Lion Princess Adenaike Adenike, the newly elected President of the Ikorodu Diamond Lions Club. In his speech, Lion Balogun expressed his admiration for Lion Princess Adenike’s election and emphasized that it is a call to service.

Lion Balogun also extended his congratulations to all the Club officers who were sworn in on this special occasion of their Investiture and fundraising ceremony. He highlighted the importance of the Club units in directly interacting with the communities they serve, emphasizing the Lions slogan “We Serve.”

He urged Lion Princess Adenike and her team to carry out well-thought-out projects that address the needs of their communities. Lion Balogun emphasized the significance of conducting rigorous needs assessments to ensure community buy-in and long-term sustainability of the projects.

In her acceptance speech, Lion Princess Adenaike Adenike expressed deep humility and a strong sense of responsibility as she officially took on the role of President of Ikorodu Diamond Lions Club.
