Ijon Ferry Terminal in Camp Davis, Ijon-Ayobo, Alimosho Local Government, has officially been handed over to the Lagos State Waterways Authority (LASWA) by the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure, Lagos State.

The newly inaugurated ferry terminal boasts excellent road connectivity, ensuring easy access for commuters. It features a secure floating pontoon, prioritizing passenger safety during boarding and disembarking.

Additionally, the terminal provides ample space for a convenient park and ride system, making it even more convenient for users and travelers.

The handover ceremony marks a significant milestone in the efforts to enhance transportation infrastructure in Lagos State. With the terminal now under the management of LASWA, the general public can look forward to improved waterway transportation services.

While the terminal is not yet open for operations, LASWA and the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure are working diligently to finalize all necessary preparations. The public will be promptly notified when the terminal is ready to serve commuters.
