Egirin Podolu CDA, Odogunyan organizes annual prayer for community prosperity and wellbeing, This special gathering brings together both Muslims and Christians in the community to pray for prosperity, health, and the overall well-being of the residents.

Mr. Lucky Oluku, the CDA Chairman of Eginrin Podolu CDA and Joint CDA Chairman of Odogunyan Ward E1, in his speech “This special gathering brings together both Muslims and Christians in the community to pray for prosperity, health, and the overall well-being of the residents. With a tradition spanning over 10 years, this event holds great significance for the community.”

Every year, the community comes together to celebrate the annual prayer event, which takes place in October. In addition to the prayers, the community also organizes a children’s party on the 27th of December, filled with exciting side attractions to entertain the kids.

He added “To ensure the safety and identification of the children during the party, the CDA has decided to introduce branded t-shirts with the names of the children written on them. This thoughtful initiative will help regulate their safety and create a sense of unity among the young participants.”

Mr. Lucky Oluku extends a heartfelt message to the community, urging them to actively participate in the CDA’s activities. He encourages community members to attend meetings, contribute their dues, and support the CDA’s efforts in organizing events like the annual prayer and children’s party.

Prince Adeniran Ogunbanwo, the CDC Chairman for Ikorodu North, in his remarks “This significant gathering, which has been taking place for over 10 years, brings together members of different religious bodies to pray for the nation, Lagos State, and the well-being of everyone in the community.

He added “The CDA is known for its strength and integrity. They are a formidable community, characterized by their honesty and truthfulness. In order to foster further development, Prince Adeniran Ogunbanwo urges community members to collaborate with their community leaders and actively participate in the creation of development programs.

He emphasized the importance of taking initiative and working together to accomplish what the Government may not be able to do alone. The CDC chairman assures the community of his full support and cooperation in their endeavors.

Mr. Odubena Azeez, the Acting Head of the Agric and Social Sciences Department in Ikorodu North LCDA, shares valuable advice for the community’s residents. As the HOD, Azeez emphasizes the importance of maintaining peace and harmony within the community.

He said the local government is delighted to witness the CDA’s proactive approach in organizing beneficial programs and plans for its members. In turn, the government provides support to the best of its abilities.
