The Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government Hon. Abdullahi Olowa and his cabinet members led the joint task force team comprising of the Nigeria Police force (NPF), Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), Nigeria Civil Defence Corp (NSCDC), Federal Road Safety Corp (FRSC), Lagos State Neighborhood Corp (LNSC) and the Ibeju Lekki Community Corp (ILCC).

The team commenced the removal of all illegal business activities on the newly constructed walkway, illegal parking and abandoned vehicles on the highway, road side car repair activities and also the arrest of commercial and private vehicle owners driving against traffic on the highway.

The enforcement operations would be a continuous exercise to checkmate the excesses of traffic offenders and restoration of sanity on our road
