
Ikorodu Diamond Lions Club, in collaboration with Aduraking Hospital and Maternity, organized an awareness campaign from Ikorodu garage to Haruna bus stop on Thursday 4th of October. The campaign aimed to raise awareness about cancer and provide screenings for diabetes, blood pressure checks, discounted laboratory tests, and health talks.
During the event, participants had the opportunity to undergo medical tests at Aduraking Hospital. Princess Adenike Abiodun Adenoike, the President of Ikorodu Diamond Lions Club, expressed their commitment to providing medical assistance to individuals with diabetes, high blood pressure, prostate cancer, and more. She emphasized the importance of regular check-ups and following prescribed medications and instructions for a healthy life.
The doctor at the outreach conducted health talks, educating participants on the importance of a healthy diet and other wellness practices. They provided valuable information on what to eat to maintain good health.
Mr. Oladapo Adetunji Emmanuel, the CDA Chairman of Olajimiyi community, commended the Ikorodu Diamond Lions Club for their support to the community. He expressed his appreciation, stating that helping people with their health is equivalent to helping them live a better life.
