And the drive to have foreign Investors in the Country cannot be left to the Government alone hence the decision of ZGM Investment Group to Invite Polish Investors into the Country towards access the available potentials in the Nigeria Business Community. The Polish team arrived into the Country via Abuja where they had met with Key Policy Makers.

The Polish Business Mission to Nigeria comprises eight representatives, including five Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) from eight reputable companies based in Poland. The team arrived in Lagos on Wednesday 27th September, 2023 and their sojourn in Lagos kicked off from the Headquarters of ZGM where each Investor had a closed door with the Chairman, Dr Abbey Onas and the Technical Director, Arc Zakirudeen Oladotun.

The ZGM Investment Group team and the Polish envoys thereafter met with the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt Honourable Mudashiru Obasa at the assembly Complex. The Speaker acknowledged the Collaborative efforts of Dr. Abbey Onas and his team in supporting the Renewable Hope drive of Mr. President who desire is to have more Investors in the Country.

Obasa assures the team of the Support of the Lawmakers and the State Government as there are enacted Laws to protect the Interest of every Investor in the State, stating that the over 25 million population of the Center of Excellence is an attractive consuming Market for the Polish Investors.

The Chairman of ZGM Investment Group, Dr. Abbey Onas, ZGM Technical Director, Arc Zakirudeen Oladotun., ZGM Brand Communications Manager, Hajia Madinat Adigun-Oladotun; and Principal Private Secretary, Mrs. Oluwakemi Olusanya led the entourage of the Polish Investors to the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry for a round table discussion in another leg of Business Discussions.

Speaking at the meeting, the Chairman of ZGM Investment Group, Dr. Abbey Onas, emphasized the ease of investing in Nigeria, stressing that Polish investors should encourage other foreigners to invest in Nigeria. The ZGM boss said: “I have the opportunity to engage some investors from Poland through the ambassador, Polish ambassador to Nigeria. Having said that, we are here and the main objective of being here is to let them feel at home, comfortable, and to have a very positive mind going back and to encourage other investors to come to Nigeria.

Affirming the trade ties between Nigeria and Poland, an LCCI representative was quoted: “We are close allies with Poland. We’ve enjoyed very conducive relationships, discussing trade and how we can improve the balance of trade between the two countries. Thank you for organizing this. Whenever your role in the free trade zone is mentioned, it points to the fact that you are one of those who are passionate about trade in Nigeria, passionate about the small businesses and how they can grow and engage in international trade.”

The LCCI representative further stressed the essence of foreign investment in Nigeria, emphasizing that everyone should be interested in Africa especially as there is a huge market here that needs to be tapped into, a huge market that needs to be supported with investment, and that investment can yield very great dividends.
