The Co-ordinator, Somolu Youth Assembly, Comrade Adewale Kayode Ibraheem A.K.A Apanishile, has commended the Member, representing Somolu State Constituency 1, at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Abiodun Ambimbola Orekoya, for convening the unprecedented Youth Summit that held on September 27, 2023.

He implores all Youths in Somolu State Constituency 1, to leverage on the gains of the Youth Summit as a linchpin to formidable youth assembly, as pivotal to paradigm shift towards youth consensus building for sustainable future leaders and a clarion call to serve our darling Constituency.

Apanishile who spoke to Newsmen at the Maiden Edition of a Capacity Building Youth Summit in the state constituency, themed: “Onboarding Sustainable Future Leaders”, held on September 27, 2023, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Lawmaker for convening the summit which gave the resilient youths of the state constituency an avenue to raise issues of considerable concerns bedeviling the youths and for making the youths an integral part of his administration, giving them sense of belonging and pride of place in the scheme of things.

Apanishile used the medium to underscore the vital roles that youths play in nation building and described the youths as the engine room of the society as well as the pivot on which the sustainable development of any society revolves. “To unboard sustainable future leaders, the youths must be included in governable and leadership of today.” Comrade Apanishile added.

However, the Co-ordinator, Somolu Youth Assembly Comrade Ibraheem Adewale (Apanishile) urged the youths across the state Constituency to give the convener of the summit and the House of Assembly member representing Somolu Constituency 1, Hon Abiodun Abimbola Orekoya, unwavering supports to enable him to achieve his lofty goals of liberating the teeming youths in his state constituency from the yoke of unemployment and the tempest of multidimensional poverty.

Apanishile extolled the virtues of Hon. Abiodun Abimbola Orekoya and described the youth-centric Lawmaker as a beacon of hope for Somolu youths, a promise keeper and a leader who matches his words with action. Expressing confidence in the Lawmaker, Apanishile said that Hon. Orekoya, upon resumption into office in the 10th Assembly, has rolled up his sleeves, fulfilling his campaign promises and that he is rest assured that he will continue to leave no stone unturned without veering off the path of progress and development.

Apanishile, on behalf of the teeming Youths in Somolu State Constituency 1 expressed profound gratitude to Hon. Abiodun Abimbola Orekoya for his unflinching supports and show of loves to and solidarity with the youths which was evident in the just held maiden Summit, emphasizing that his unalloyed financial and moral supports have in no small measure, contributed to the tremendous success of the unprecedented summit. “Your mentorship and zest for grooming future responsible leaders who will in turn, build a virile nation and sustainable future have been documented.” Comrade Apanishile concluded.
