The Executive Chairman of Ikorodu North LCDA, Builder Deola Banjo has earlier today distributed educational materials to primary school pupils in the LCDA. The initiative is tagged “Back to School Intervention” is aimed at supporting parents and in fulfillment of the Chairman’s commitment towards promoting education in Ikorodu North LCDA.

The 17 public primary schools in Ikorodu North benefitted from the Chairman’s thoughtfulness and they couldn’t hide their excitement as they took turns to appreciate the Builder of man and resources in Ikorodu North LCDA, Honourable Adeola Banjo.

The items distributed include a durable school bag, exercise books, pencils, sharpeners, rulers and a host of other items that would aid learning in public schools.

The Chairman, Builder Deola Banjo while giving his speech said – -“This is not the first time we are giving out exercise books and it is not the second. It is however in continuation of our efforts to make our public schools more education friendly and make learning fun for our pupils. We have distributed white marker boards to phase out black boards in Ikorodu North and thus it is only natural for us to focus our efforts to ensure pupils can write and learn in a conducive environment”.

Six representatives of the schools led by their teachers visited the LCDA to collect the materials on behalf of their schools.

The Vice Chairman, Honourable Ameen Olawale Apanishile, Legislators, Supervisors, management members and political leaders in Ikorodu North witnessed the historic event.
