Hon. Adeola Muyideen Jokomba has officially assumed office as the acting State Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State yesterday. The appointment was approved by the State Working Committee of the APC Lagos, led by the Chairman Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, at the State party secretariat.
Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, the APC Chairman of Lagos State, expressed his gratitude and admiration for the people of Ikorodu. He commended their commitment and loyalty to the party, particularly in their support for the appointment of Jokomba Adeola as the acting State Secretary. This appointment has been officially ratified by the State Working Committee, solidifying Adeola’s position.
During his speech, Pastor Ojelabi highlighted the importance of the East Senatorial District’s contribution to the party. He praised their unwavering support and dedication, which has greatly impacted the leadership of the party. He also acknowledged the efforts of Prince Abiodun Ogunleye and others who have played a significant role in this journey.

“I unreservedly express gratitude to the patriarch of All Progressive Congress, I thank Almighty God for making this day a reality,” Hon. Hon. Jokomba further expressed his appreciation to Senator Abiru Lagos East Senator and Otunba Babajimi Benson, member of the House of Representatives, for their unwavering support. He also thanked the Chief of Staff to the President of Nigeria, Rt Hon Femi Gbajabiamila, for his guidance and mentorship.
The newly appointed acting State Secretary did not forget to acknowledge the contributions of the present and past local government chairmen, councilors, and supervisors from Ikorodu division. He recognized their dedication and commitment to the party’s progress.
