Hon. Bashiru Ismail Olaniyi, a philanthropist from Ikorodu North LCDA, has unveiled his plan to provide scholarships to five indigent students for higher education.

Oseni Akolade, Yusuf Omo-Ola, Isiaka Morenikeji, Alimi Omolola and Agiri Aishat will spend two years at Osun State College of Education and Osun State College of Health Technology.

This initiative aims to support and encourage the young people in Ikorodu North LCDA, paving the way for their future success.

Expressing his unwavering commitment to the academic progress of the scholarship recipients, Hon. Bashiru Ismail Olaniyi has emphasized the importance of monitoring their journey in their chosen institutions. By doing so, he aims to ensure that these deserving students become outstanding Ambassadors of Ikorodu North LCDA.

He said he will be having a youth empowerment program across the wards in Ikorodu North LCDA very soon.

He has also met with the market women leaders across all the unit in Ikorodu North LCDA which he donated apron to them as what he can used to support and encouraged them, he said they are very important in the community.
