In a resounding victory, Prince Adeniran Ogunbanwo has been re-elected as the Chairman of the Community Development Committee (CDC) alongside other executives in Ikorodu North LCDA. The announcement comes after a successful election where CDAs representatives cast their votes, showing overwhelming support for Prince Ogunbanwo and the Executives that will be working with him, the election took place today, 31st of August, 2023.

Expressing his gratitude, Prince Ogunbanwo extended his heartfelt appreciation to all the CDAs representatives who voted for him and placed their trust in his leadership once again. He acknowledged their confidence in him and promised to work tirelessly for the development of Ikorodu North LCDA.

the CDC Chairman emphasized the importance of peace and unity, particularly in Ward B3. He urged everyone to set aside any feelings of animosity or hatred for the sake of the community’s children.

With the election now behind them, the Chairman urged all residents to come together and work hand in hand. He stressed that there is a collective responsibility to fulfill, one that requires collaboration and a shared vision for the betterment of the community.

As the CDC Chairman concluded his speech, he called on everyone to embrace unity and leave behind any lingering divisions. He emphasized that the election is over and now is the time to focus on the tasks ahead, working together to build a brighter future for their community.

The election process

Hon. Fakunmoju extended gratitude to the people of United Joint CDAs Ward E2 Erikorodo for the privilege of representing them and he thanked all delegates who voted for them, and he promised the Executives won’t betray their trust.

Hon. Kunle Ogunbela, Supervisor for Agriculture, represented the Executive Chairman of Ikorodu North LCDA Builder Deola Banjo.

In his speech, Hon. Ogunbela conveyed the heartfelt message from Builder Deola Banjo, Builder Banjo expressed his immense pride and appreciation for the re-election of Prince Adeniran Ogunbanwo as the Chairman of the CDC in Ikorodu North LCDA.

Builder Banjo acknowledged the remarkable work done by Prince Ogunbanwo during his previous tenure and expressed his confidence in his ability to continue leading the CDC towards the development and progress of the community. He also commended the CDAs representatives for their active participation in the election process.

Furthermore, Builder Banjo emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration among the elected executives, CDAs, and other stakeholders in order to achieve the shared goal of a prosperous and thriving Ikorodu North LCDA.

Hon. Ogunbela concluded the speech by congratulating Prince Ogunbanwo on his re-election and expressing his optimism for a successful and fruitful collaboration between the CDC and the LCDA.

General Secretary Mr. Ajala Adewuyi, Financial Secretary Mr. Yekini Iskilu, Treasurer Mr Oluwole Adewo, Auditor Mr Timothy Oluwoye, PRO Mr Mike Ibikunle, Social Secretary Mr Rasheed Maja, Welfare 1 Mrs Taiwo Ogunlade, Welfare II Mr. Rasaq Saheed.

Hon. Niran Adeyemi, the Deputy Leader of Ikorodu North LCDA, and Hon. Bola Daramola expressed their warm congratulations to the newly elected executives, led by Chairman Prince Adeniran Ogunbanwo.
