… Unveils theme for the ISU WEEK 2023

Imota Student Union which is the umbrella body for all students in Imota Local Council Development Area will be marking her 20th year anniversary this year, hence, this year ISU Week, which is usually the biggest of the union annual program will be staged in honour of the anniversary.

In a fireside chat monitored by our correspondent, the head of the organizing committee, a female and a 300level student of Lagos State University, Comrade Odufesi Temitope Rukayat which according to the history of the ISU WEEK Programs happened to be the first female to chair the said biggest program of the union, congratulates the founding fathers and also the sponsors who had been fueling the union and ensuring the continual sailing of the community students body.

While in another media round, the Chairperson of the Organizing Committee brief the Comrades and other well wishers of the union on the preparation thus far. “For the preparation, this program is the biggest of all the programs of the union, as we all know, we are clocking 20 and it’s gonna be loud. So for now, we are on the drawing board and by next week, our fathers and mother’s will start seeing us in their houses and offices as usual.” She noted.

Speaking on the theme for this year program, she said, “We shall seize the opportunity of this anniversary to dig into the union and the community’s PAST, look cursorily into the PRESENT and make a projection into the FUTURE. Thus, we shall be working with the theme: THE PAST, THE PRESENT, THE FUTURE.”

Comrade Temitope in her parting shot sincerely appreciated all the sponsors of the union and call for more support. “I want to sincerely appreciate all our fathers, mothers and other individuals outside Imota that had been supporting the Union and I am happy to tell you that your love and support has brought us this far. However, we still look forward to having more of your love and support as we start knocking on your doors starting from next week, we hope to enjoy your usual hospitality and much more the support.” She concluded.
