
The Knights Club, a social and humanitarian organization in Ikorodu Division, celebrated its 22nd anniversary by visiting the Lagos State Rehabilitation and Training Center, Owutu, Isawo Road, Ikorodu, on Saturday, July 29, 2023.
The Club, which has since been renamed to The Noble Knights Club after registering with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) of Nigeria, donated food items, toiletries, detergents, clothing, footwear, and other necessary materials to the center.
The Club has been performing its dual role of being a social and humanitarian organization in Ikorodu Division since its inception. The Club delegation, led by its President, Kt. Oluwaseyi A. Adelabu, and accompanied by the first/former President & Chairman, Board of Trustees – Kt. Olatunji Odupe, and other notable members of the Club, visited the center to donate the items.
The visit to the Lagos State Rehabilitation and Training Center is part of the Club’s tradition and practices. The Club is committed to giving back to the community and helping those in need. The Noble Knights Club has been instrumental in promoting the welfare of the people of Ikorodu Division and has been involved in various humanitarian activities over the years.
The Club’s leadership and members are dedicated to ensuring that the community is a better place for everyone. The visit to the Lagos State Rehabilitation and Training Center is just one of the many ways that the Club is making a positive impact on the community. The Club’s commitment to social and humanitarian activities is a testament to its dedication to serving the people of Ikorodu Division.
While thanking God Almighty for His grace on members over the years, the Club further expresses its sincere gratitude to one of its Patroness Alhaja Sukurat Adejoke Aminu, CEO of ABITOP Nig. Ent. for her maximum support and co-sponsoring of items donated to the rehabilitation center.
The Club appreciates all its Pillars under the Grand Patron of Sen. (Dr.) Kingsley Adeseye Ogunlewe for their love, and support over time.
As part of the promises made to the center, the Club will be paying another visit before the end of the year to donate materials to the babies’ section of the rehabilitation home.
In conclusion the Club is calling on other well-meaning individuals, families, clubs/associations, religious bodies, and groups to support the center and other less privileged homes in our society.
