On Saturday, July 22nd, The Heartmenders Foundation organized a nursing mother outreach at Agboyi Community in Ketu, Lagos. The event was a huge success as nursing mothers in the community were educated on healthy living, breastfeeding, and dental care.

The event started with a health talk for nursing mothers by Abimsforall initiatives, the talk focused on the importance of breastfeeding and healthy living. The mothers were also given medical checkups to ensure that they were in good health.

Founder of The Heartmenders Foundation, Mary Fidelis, gave a speech where she emphasized the importance of taking care of oneself and one’s family, She encouraged the mothers to take responsibility for their health and the health of their families.

Dental care talks and demonstrations were also given by Folabs Dental Care. The mothers were educated on dental hygiene and the importance of regular dental checkups.

The Heartmenders Foundation expressed their appreciation to their partners who made the outreach possible, Partners included Lagos Food Bank Initiative, FoodClique Support Initiative, Folabs Dental Care, Olumayowashots, SMOD Prints, Power Oil, May & Baker Nigeria Plc, Abimsloveforallinitiative, Marayo Rosewood, Olumayowashots, AgeleIII, and special appreciation to Kabiyesi (HRM Oba Monsuru Abimbola Oladega) The Olu Of Agboyi.

The Secretary and Mr. Okanlomo also gave remarks on behalf of The Heartmenders Foundation and thanked the nursing mothers for allowing them to extend love to the vulnerable mothers in Agboyi 1 in Ketu, They also expressed their appreciation to Kabiyesi (HRM Oba Monsuru Abimbola Oladega) The Olu Of Agboyi for his support in making the outreach possible.

The nursing mother outreach was a huge success and The Heartmenders Foundation hopes to continue making a positive impact in the community.
