. . . PARTNER LAGFERRY TO BOOST TOURISM IN LAGOS STATE

The League of Tourism Officers in the 57 Local Government and Local Council Development Areas in Lagos State has partnered with LAGFERRY to boost tourism in the state. On July 13th, 2023, the team enjoyed a boat cruise with LAGFERRY’s MF Eko Akete from Five Cowries Terminal, Falomo-Ikoyi through the Five Cowries Creek to the Lagos Lagoon to sight landmark places such as 1004 Estate, Lekki Ikoyi Link Bridge, Banana Island, Osborne, 3rd Mainland Bridge, Eko Bridge, Carter Bridge, Apapa Port, Eko Atlantic City, The Wings Building, Raddisson Blu, US Embassy, and more.

The League of Tourism Officers in the 57 Local Government and Local Council Development Areas took this practical step with LAGFERRY to further develop the tourism potentials of Lagos State. This partnership is part of Governor Sanwo-Olu’s T.H.E.M.E.S+ agenda to develop tourism potentials and revolutionize Lagos waterways.

The team enjoyed the ambience of the Lagos Waterways as they took a boat cruise with LAGFERRY’s MF Eko Akete. They were able to experience the waterways view of landmark places such as 1004 Estate, Lekki Ikoyi Link Bridge, Banana Island, Osborne, 3rd Mainland Bridge, Eko Bridge, Carter Bridge, Apapa Port, Eko Atlantic City, The Wings Building, Raddisson Blu, and the US Embassy.

This partnership between the League of Tourism Officers in the 57 Local Government and Local Council Development Areas and LAGFERRY is a great step towards boosting tourism in Lagos State. It is hoped that this partnership will help to further develop the tourism potentials of Lagos State and revolutionize Lagos waterways.
