
Egbe Tobalase Obinrin Ikorodu Kingdom celebrated its third year anniversary in Ikorodu, Lagos State on the 8th of July, Egbe Tobalase Obinrin is a women’s group in Ikorodu community, Lagos State, that aims to promote the cultural heritage of the community. The group is involved in various activities that promote the welfare of women, needy and the aged in the community.
Iyalode Owoyele Olufunke (Iyalode Egbe), the leader of the group, gave the welcome address and extended her greetings to the special guests and patrons in attendance. She expressed her excitement about the milestone celebration of three years and the group’s achievements over the years. She also mentioned that the group gave stipends to petty traders in the Ikorodu community to commemorate their anniversary.

Princess Abiola Hanford gave a summary of the Egbe Tobalase Obinrin Ikorodu Kingdom, stating that they are women of substance, including lawyers, doctors, businesswomen, and influential women. She also mentioned that Egbe Tobalase Obinrin is the first women’s royal group in Ikorodu, and to join the group, you must have your handwork or business. She mentioned some of the group’s achievements so far, including their charitable works, which have helped petty traders and women in Ikorodu, as well as donating foodstuffs to old people’s homes and orphanages.
She also said the group focus was on empowering women, the needy helping them to become self-sufficient. She said that the group’s members were committed to using their skills and resources to make a positive impact in the lives of those around them. She added that the group was also focused on promoting unity and collaboration among women in Ikorodu, and that they were working to create a platform for women to come together and share their experiences.

Abdullateef Oyinloye spoke on behalf of the icon group of Mrs Bolanle Adigun and congratulated the Tobalase Obinrin group. He also congratulated the Grand patron Otunba Akinola Awomodu, and urged the group to continue to believe in the mission and vision of the group. He assured them of Mrs Adigun support at all times and encouraged them not to relax on their hoarse, but to continue to do the good work.
The Baale of Olubusi, Chief Lateef Kamson, who spoke on behalf of the Baales, also extended his greetings to dignitaries in attendance and congratulated the Egbe Tobalase Obinrin group on their anniversary. He commended the group for their efforts in giving back to the community and for their commitment to helping those in need.
He urge the members of the group to continue their hard work and dedication, stressing the importance of unity and collaboration.
