Thomas Femi, a native of Ogun state”Ijebu” the Chairman Cycling of the state. In an interview of his Asiwaju story said he was raised by a single mother in Lagos and that he was part of the first set of student His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu paid there West African Examination Council (WAEC) and National Examination Council fee(NECO) fee in Lagos State.

“I met him for the first time at Costain when he was the Governor of Lagos state, he picked me up , looked me and said he has something for me, he gave me some money, and since then I have been seeing him as a role model” he said.
