Dear esteemed residents of Ikorodu North LCDA,

It is with great pleasure that I extend my heartfelt greetings to each and every one of you on this momentous occasion of our nation’s democracy day commemoration.

There is no denying the fact that our beloved council, Ikorodu division, and our entire nation have encountered numerous challenges throughout our journey in sustaining this democratic dispensation. However, it is through these trials and tribulations that we have forged an uncommon bond, enabling us to overcome turbulence and emerge stronger, united in our diversity.

Moreover, our innate humanity and our willingness to exhibit love, care, and be our brothers’ keepers in the face of adversity have served as pillars upholding our indivisibility.

As we embark on a new chapter in our collective pursuit of a better future, characterized by unwavering patriotism and dedication to nationhood, I pray that we all enjoy good health and remain alive to witness the abundant fruits of our labor and love for our dear nation.

I urge each and every one of us to exercise patience and understanding as we support the new administration under the capable leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, as he rekindles our hope and restores our confidence in a transparent, accountable, and purpose-driven government.

Let us also rally behind our esteemed Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu as he rolls up his sleeves to deliver the dividends of good governance during his second term in office.

As we come together to celebrate this day, brimming with hope and expectations for a brighter Nigeria, I extend my warmest wishes to all of you for a joyous Democracy Day!
