…Reiterates Commitment to Contributing his quota to humanity

…Says it has been a privilege to serve under Sanwo-Olu, Hamzat.

Mr. Mobolaji Ogunlende (RAK), pioneer of Real Acts of Kindness Development Foundation and former Special Adviser to Lagos State Governor on Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Relations has commissioned a community water project at Iworo market, Olorunda LCDA.

Commissioning the water project under the umbrella of the RAK Development Foundation, Mr. Ogunlende said it was in fulfilment of a pledge made to the market women while he was consulting, seeking to get the House of Representatives ticket under the umbrella of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in the build-up to the last primary elections.

According to him, It was a request by the Market women which he pledged to implement.

The just commissioned water project was the second one, with the first borehole delivered almost immediately after the pledge.

In his words;

“When i was going round, meeting various sets of people, i met the market women in Olorunda. I made a pledge for two boreholes, which is what they requested for

“We did the first one immediately and we are delivering the second one today.

“And I thank the Almighty Allah for giving me the ability to fulfill that obligation, because a promise is a debt.”

Speaking on what has motivated the countless humanitarian projects he has taken on, he said;

“Irrespective of whether i was contesting or not, it is something that is in the Bible and Qur’an. There is a lot of reward that comes from it

“So, I am happy that i am alive to be able to fulfill this obligation and I hope that I am able to reap the benefits of these by the special grace of Almighty Allah.”

Speaking on his experience while serving in the Governor Sanwoolu-led Cabinet of Lagos State, he continued;

“Very interesting, an eye opener. Now i have another type of experience that i have gathered while in service for six months.

“It has also been a privilege to have been able to serve Lagosians. I am happy that i was given that opportunity to serve.

“It has been an eye opener. I have learnt a lot, i have seen a lot. I have contributed my own quota and i hope to be able to continue to contribute my quota as we move along.”

In conclusion, Mr. Ogunlende thanked the Governor and Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwoolu and Dr. Obafemi Hamzat respectively, for giving him the opportunity to serve in the cabinet, seeing it as a privilege to serve the people.
