… Engaged them in reading contest.

Ikorodu Diamond Lions Club on Friday 26th May 2023, visited Methodist Primary School to celebrate the Children’s day. The school is an inclusive place of learning with over 1000 pupils selected children from both special and regular sections were engaged in the reading contest.

Three best students received books as prizes, and the first position got a branded Lion bag pack and writing materials, participants were given notebooks and other writing materials, also the special children were given branded bags with writing materials.

Lion Akadiri Adeleke the President of Ikorodu Diamond Lions Club and other The Lions in attendance were fully supported by the Head of unit Mrs Mary Ogunfeyimi, Assistant Head teacher, Mrs Comfort Oluremi Gbadamosi, the Head of unit of the Special school and other class teachers.

Lion Lady Funmi Alabi the Project coordinator also doubled as District Chairperson – Lion Service for Children 2022/23 appreciate the volunteers who showed for the project.
