Owu College of Management Technology situated in Wasimi Abeokuta seek to partner & leverage on NYCN Lagos grassroots capacity in reaching out to Youths with less privilege background and those that couldn’t made higher scores required to gain admission into higher Institute.

OwuTech made an MoU to give Tution Free Scholarship (worth #150,000 per Session) to applicants NYCN Lagos recommend.

Applicants seeking admission into OND program will only have to pay the following fees for a session:
1. Screening Fee – #3,000
2. Acceptance Fee – #15,000
2. Library Fee, Developmental Fee and Damages Fee – #30,000

*Total 1st Year = #48,000 (1st Session) & Total 2nd Year = #30,000 (2nd Session)*

While, those seeking admission into HND will be paying:-
1. Screening Fee – #3,000
2. Acceptance Fee – #35,000
2. Library Fee, Developmental Fee and Damages Fee – #35,000

*Total 1st Year = #73,000 (1st Session) & Total 2nd Year = #35,000 (2nd Session)*

Presently, the Institute run both OND and HND with the courses listed below:-
1. Mass Communication
2. Business Administration
3. Accountancy
4. Science and Laboratory Technology
5. Computer Engineering
6. Computer Science
7.Electronic & Electricians
8. Statistics and Mathematics

OND & HND Programs normally run for 2 Academic Sessions with 4 Semesters.

The Secretary Comrade Agbaje said, that from his (SEC) research, he found out that Owutech is a private tertiary IEI approved by Federal Ministry of Education, JAMB and accredited by National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) since 2013. NBTE is a body that Approved and Accredited Private Polytechnics in the Country.

To support that, Comrade Ajayi Abiodun Mandate, NYCN Lagos PRO confirmed to know two people studying presently at the Institute.

Meanwhile, during our physical conversation with the Institute representative, he mentioned NYCN Ogun Chapter to have benefitted from their Tution Free Scholarship Admission through their Recommendations for Young Applicants over three years ago.

In view of this, the State Leadership will be recommending 5 Interested Youths from each Local Branches/VYO’s for the Tution Free Scholarship to secure Admission at the Institute.

The Scholarship form is available for collection from the three NYCN Lagos Senatorial Districts Vice Chairmen/Organizing Secretaries.

The Screening Exercise will be held on 16th February, 2022.
