Worried by the growing state of insecurity in the country, especially as the 2023 general election approaches, a member of the House of Representatives representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola/Iwajowa federal constituency, Hon. Shina Peller, who also doubles as the Ayedero of Yorubaland, has begun peace tour across the six geopolitical zones of the country.

Hon. Peller started the peace tour from Minna, Niger state, where he met yesterday with the elderstateman and former Head of state, Retired Gen. Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida (IBB), in his countryhome, His Royal Highness Alhaji Umar Faruq Bahago (CON), Emir of Minna in his palace.

It would be recalled that on Thursday, His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III, the Alaafin of Oyo and His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II, Ooni of Ife had both mandated Hon. Peller, in his capacity as Ayedero of Yorubaland, to embark on peace tour across the six geopolitical zones to mobilize the youth, traditional rulers and notable personalities against violence and insecurity ahead of 2023 general election.
